There is quite a vivid effect in the background, as if there is an extremely bright sun rising along the horizon of an alien planet, this could have been influenced by games such as Halo, Mass Effect and Vanquish. The mech seems to be influenced by the likes of games such as Armoured Core, Metal Gear Solid, And possibly even Mobile Suit Gundam. I quite like the style of this image, as if a hectic futuristic battlefield is heated by the military shouts and gunfire of the heroes of war.
